Arsmondo Roma Festival
Arsmondo Roma Festival
Roma and Travelers span diverse communities with complex histories, rich in cultural traditions and stories. When the Roma were expelled from northern India around the 11th century, some of these exiled families settled in Greece, while others settled in Central Europe, southern France, Alsace, and Andalusia. The fifth edition of the interdisciplinary Arsmondo Festival celebrates the cultural heritage of this diaspora, which represents the largest minority in Europe. Through opera, lieder, flamenco, jazz, cinema, literature, and conversation, Arsmondo Roma will open a window onto a diverse and vibrant culture that spans borders and centuries.
