Biography
After his debut at the Opéra Studio of the OnR, his engagements multiplied: the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Vlaamse Opera, the Royal Opera of Wallonia-Liège, La Monnaie de Bruxelles. He is a regular guest on the main French and European lyrical stages. In 2010, he performed Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte directed by Peter Brook) presented on an international tour. The roles of Melchtal (Guillaume Tell), Lorenzo (I Capuleti ei Montecchi), Le vieil hebreu (Samson and Delilah), Brandner (La Damnation de Faust), Calchas (Iphigénie en Aulide), the Commander (Don Giovanni) and Bartolo follow. (Le nozze di Figaro). Recently, he sang Guillaume Tell in Amsterdam, Monte-Carlo and Paris, Pelléas et Mélisande in Brussels, Fidelio in Rouen, Roméo et Juliette and Faust in Tallin, Anna Bolena in Bordeaux and Avignon, Le Comte Ory at the Opéra Comique, in Lyon and Versailles, Manon and Lucia di Lammermoor in Lausanne, Semiramide in Lyon, Paris and Marseille, Don Carlos, Macbeth and Zelmira in Lyon, Simon Boccanegra and Hamlet in Avignon, Falstaff in Marseille and Monte Carlo, Don Carlo in Bordeaux and Marseille , Don Giovanni in Rouen and Versailles, Der fliegende Holländer in Lille, Samson et Dalila in Metz and Massy, Les Huguenots at the Opéra national de Paris. Among his present and future performances are Robert le Diable at La Monnaie de Bruxelles, Don Carlos in Liège, Rigoletto at the Opéra de Massy,Guillaume Tell in Lyon, Tosca in Lille and Marseille, L'Amour des trois oranges in Nancy, La Carmélite in Toulouse and Psyché at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. At the OnR, he has participated in the productions of Les Huguenots (2011), Der ferne Klang (2012), De la maison des morts (2013) and Don Carlo (2016).
