Biography
Set designer and plastic artist, inspired by volume creation courses, he initially took the paths of design and then directed his training towards scenography. He validated the diploma of the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, under the teaching of the scenographer Pierre-André Weitz. He acquired his experience alongside him as an assistant for the productions of Tannhäuser in Geneva, Idomenée at the Aix-en-Provence festival, Alceste and Aida at the Opéra national de Paris, Les Huguenots at the Monnaie de Bruxelles, Dialogues des carmélites at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. In 2004, he set up the company Les Détachés du Port. He directed and adapted Les Drôles by Élizabeth Mazev, and designed La Muse, la mort et inconnu, two object theater projects. Since 2012, he has been creating the scenographies for Marie-Eve Signeyrole: La Petite Renarde rusée, Eugène Onéguine, La Soupe pop, and Il trittico by Puccini in Montpellier, Owen Wingrave at the Opéra national de Lorraine, L'Affaire Tailleferre in Limoges, the Monster of the labyrinth at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, Carmen in Riga, Ronja Raubertochter in Zurich, SeX'Y at the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Paris, Nabucco at the Opéra de Lille, La Damnation de Faust in Hanover. They are preparing, for the next seasons, Mew Songs / Francis Bacon at the Bouffes du Nord (20/21), Jenufa at the Opéra de Rouen (21/22). He also collaborates on David Gauchard's creations: Der Freischütz at the Opéra de Limoges and L'Odyssée à Compiègne; and Kristian Frédric: Fando et Lis at the Opéra de Saint-Etienne. He also works with choreographer Claude Brumachon. At the OnR he designed the sets for Cinderella by Wolf-Ferrari in 2015
