Biography
After graduated in Modern Letters at the Sorbonne, and holder of a master's degree in cinema, she made her first films and pursued a two-track career: director and author-director. In 2012, she signed her first production of the opera La Petite Renarde rusée by Janacek at the Opéra de Montpellier. She was the author and director of the alternative musical show Soupe Pop in Montpellier and of the 14 + 18 musical show at the Opéra national de Paris, for "Ten months of school and opera" in co-production with the National Opera of Lorraine, Montpellier and Reims. She participated in the European Academy of Music of the Aix-en-Provence Festival as an author and director and developed her contemporary opera project Vanilla Pudding. In 2015, she staged Jonathan Dove's Le Monstre du labyrinthe under the direction of Sir Simon Rattle, at the Aix-en-Provence Festival, performed in Lille, Montpellier and Lisbon. Her recent productions include La Damnation de Faust by Berlioz in Hanover, Nabucco in Lille and Dijon, Ronja Räubertochter in Zurich, Carmen in Riga, Il tabarro and Royal Palace, La notte di un nevrastenico and Gianni Schicchi in Montpellier, Owen Wingrave in Nancy , Eugène Onéguine in Limoges. Last season she directed Le Monstre du labyrinthe in Amsterdam, signed the libretto and directed Baby Doll to music by Beethoven for the Paris Chamber Orchestra in co-production with the Auditorium de Lyon, the Arsenal de Metz, the Opéra de Montpellier and the Gulbenkian Foundation. At the OnR, she directed Wolf Ferrari's Cinderella at the Opera Studio and Don Giovanni* in 2019.
