Rising opera star baritone Andrè Schuen gives a refined and subtle performance of romantic lieder by Robert Schumann and Hugo Wolf based on poems by Heine and Goethe. He sets these alongside pieces by Frank Martin, one of the foremost Swiss composers of the twentieth century, based on the monologues from Hugo von Hofmannsthal’s play Jedermann.
