Supported by Baden-Württemberg Stiftung (BWS plus), Opéra Trinational is the fruit of close interregional cooperation in the discipline of opera training, building bridges between conservatoires, theaters and opera houses in Fribourg-en-Brisgau, Basel and Strasbourg/Colmar/Mulhouse. The combination of their collective strength and the individual priorities of each institution is helping to redefine musical theater training in the transborder region between France, Germany and Switzerland. Opéra Trinational creates opportunities for young opera performers honing their craft to meet and collaborate in the Upper Rhine region.
