Alexandre Tharaud is in residence at the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg. An ambassador of the French piano with an inquisitive mind open to influences from all over, Tharaud will be with the Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg throughout the 2021-22 season playing symphonies (12 December and 31 May) and chamber music (27 March), and accompanying recitals (12 December and 31 May).

Soprano Sabine Devieilhe and pianist Alexandre Tharaud form a musical partnership with an incredibly rare sensitivity and depth. Both passionate about French music, the pair conjure up feelings of joy, sorrow and yearning fueled by love in an anthology of French songs based on poems by Verlaine, Apollinaire, Mallarmé, and Aragon.
