A familiar soundtrack to Studio Ghibli’s animated films, the music of Joe Hisaishi is inspired as much by Tchaikovsky as by traditional Japanese music. Here we present a rousing anthology of his finest scores from Princess Mononoke, Grave of the Fireflies and My Neighbor Totoro for accordion and voice, accompanied by excerpts from these widely beloved films.
