The Choir of the Opera national du Rhin, conducted by Alessandro Zuppardo, presents a beautiful and moving musical journey that strays from its usual repertoire. The choir will sing, in Arabic, popular songs from the Lebanese repertoire, melodies that are still being hummed in Beirut today. They include pieces by Philemon Wehbe (1918-1985), Zaki Nassif (1916-2004) and Elias Rahbani (1938-2021) among others. Do you know them? The choir might even invite you to sing along!
