Presentation

During a Lyrical midday break, singers and pianists of the Opera Studio propose extracts from Lakmé by Léo Delibes (1883), The Pearl Fishers by Georges Bizet (1863) and The King of Lahore by Jules Massenet (1877). Three operas attesting an East desire, for sensuality and tragedy which are demonstrated in a fantasized India.

With Clara Guillon, Tristan Blanchet and Claire Péron for Lakmé ; Julie Goussot, Thomas Kiechle and Jakob Scharfman for The Pearl Fishers; Julie Goussot and Eugénie Joneau for The King of Lahore.
