Presentation
You are warmly invited to come to this event peppered with unexpected sparkle and uncanny interweaving by Stage Director Philippe Arlaud and his accomplice Orchestra Conductor Claire Levacher directing the Linea Ensemble. In a setting where lighting and video play a key role in transforming the Opera auditorium, there is a whole menu of delights to sample with a world premiere by Francesco Alvarado (1984-), the French premiere of Singing Garden by Toshio Hosokawa (1955-) and Rhondda Rips It Up!(excerpts) by Elena Langer (1974-) and a performance by a male choir of a work by David Lang (1957-). In the second part of the show in partnership with Musica and L'Ososphère, dancers from the Ballet of the Opéra national du Rhin directed by young choreographers and accompanied by a DJ, will take over a surprise location to prove that the title of this evening is decidedly well chosen.
