Biography
This German tenor has been studying singing with Annette Koch in Münster and then at the University of Munich with Lars Woldt since 2015. He followed the masterclasses of Götz Alsmann in Münster, Susan Anthony in Detmold and Bernhard Adler in Vienna. During his studies, he played a dozen roles including the title role of Return of Odysseus in his homeland of Monteverdi, Kalil (Die arabische Nacht by Christian Jost) and Remendado (Carmen) in Munich and Ingolstadt and participated in particular in the re-creation of a baroque opera in Kassel in 2013. Recently he sang Bill (Flight) by Jonathan Dove at the Prinzregententheater in Munich, as well as as a soloist in Bielefeld in Hymn of Praise by Mendelssohn, in Salzburg in the Christmas Oratorio of Saint-Saëns, at Exeter in Britten's War Requiem, at the Kasseler Musiktage in Händel's Messiah in Mozart's version. He hold a scholarship from the Cercle Richard Wagner and sings Schubert's Die schöne Müllerin during a recording for Deutschlandradio Kultur. He joined the Opera Studio of the OnR in September 2017 and participated during the 2018-2019 season in productions of Barkouf and Maria de Buenos Aires
