Biography

Artistic collective founded in Bordeaux in 2009, Clarac-Deloeuil> the lab explores all the dramatic dimensions of classical music. The company collaborated with the most prestigious European cultural institutions (La Monnaie de Bruxelles, Fundaçao Gulbenkian Lisbon, Casa da Musica Porto, ABAO Bilbao, Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepulciano, Opéra Comique, Philharmonie de Paris, Opéra national de Bordeaux, Festival Musica Strasbourg, Opéra national de Montpellier, Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers). They worked in collaboration with lighting designers Rick Martin and Christophe Pitoiset, videographer Jean-Baptiste Beïs, graphic designer Julien Roques, playwright Luc Bourrousse and artistic collaborator Lodie Kardouss offering multidisciplinary creations that immerse viewers in forms and issue of current policies of the performing arts. The creations of Clarac-Deloeuil> le lab focus on the chosen work, but also on the political and social environment in which it will be presented. In a production by Clarac-Deloeuil> le lab, the spectator is in fact always involved. Produced as part of a Residency for Creative Musical Objects at the Limoges Opera, the productions of Peer Gynt, Schubert Box and Butterfly , Itinerary of a disoriented young woman received the Best Scenic Elements 2018 award from the Professional Association of Theater, Music and Dance Critics. They have just directed the Mozart - Da Ponte trilogy (Nozze di Figaro, Cosi fan tutte, Don Giovanni) at La Monnaie in Brussels.
