Jake Arditti

He began his career at the age of eleven with Yniold in Pelléas et Mélisande in Glyndebourne as well as in numerous productions of the English National Opera. In 2012 he won the 1st prize of the Cesti International Competition of the Old Music Festival in Innsbruck. He performed Rinaldo de Händel at the Bolshoi Moscow, the title role of Serse at the Longborough Festival Opera, that of Riccardo Primo at the Händel festival in London, Sesto at the Teatro Colón, Nireno (Giulio Cesare) at the ENO, Narciso (Agrippina) at the Opera Vlaanderen, but also rarer roles such as Emone (Antigone de Traetta) at the Wiener Kammeroper, Euripilo / Discordia / Polluce (Elena de Cavalli) at the Aix-en-Provence, Lisbon and Lille festivals. In the English baroque repertoire, he performed Spirit (Dido and Aeneas by Purcell) and Cupid (Venus and Adonis by Blow) in Innsbruck, Othniel (Joshua by Händel). Recently he made his debut in the role of David (Saul de Händel) at the Theater an der Wien. The amplitude of his tessitura also allows him to sing roles such as Nerone (L'incoronazione di Poppea) at the Theater an der Wien and the Opernhaus Zurich, Nerone (Agrippina by Händel) at the Theater an der Wien and at the Händel festival. from Göttingen.
