Biography
She began her career in operas such as the State Opera in Munich, Flanders, Amsterdam, Weimar, the Volksoper in Vienna and the Salzburg Festival. From 2000 to 2004, she was a guest soloist at the Bayreuth Festival. In 2003 she made her debut as a Mother in Hansel and Gretel at the Hamburg Opera. In 2004, she sang the role of Marianne in Le Chevalier à la rose at the Salzburg Festival and at the Festival de Saint-Sebastien, the role of Sieglinde in La Valkyrie at the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto. That same year, she made her debut at the Dresden Opera, the Paris Opera and the Vienna Opera, where she played Helmwige in La Valkyrie, Gutrune and 3e Norne in Le Crépuscule des dieux and Marianne in The Knight of the Rose. In 2008, she made her debut at the Estonian National Opera. In 2009, she sang in Le Chevalier à la rose in Baden Baden, she performed Kundry in Parsifal at the Budapest State Opera and Goneril in Reimann's Lear at the Komische Oper in Berlin. In 2010, she returned to Vienna with L'Amour des trois oranges by Prokofiev, to Glyndebourne with Hansel and Gretel, to the National Theater in Mannheim with The Valkyrie. In 2011, she performed Ghita in Le Nain at the Munich Opera, Kundry in Parsifal in Tallinn, Mère Marie in Dialogues des carmélites in Berlin and at the Stuttgart Opera, 3e Norne in Munich, Le Chevalier à la rose at the Dresden Opera, Hansel and Gretel at the Paris Opera, Brünnhilde in Le crépuscule des Dieux at the Stuttgart Opera, Isolde in Tristan and Isolde in Seoul and Tokyo and all Brünnhilde in full cycle in concert in Vienna. She has performed under the direction of conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Lorin Maazel, Semyon Bychkov, Hartmut Haenchen, Marcello Viotti, Peter Schneider, Christian Thielemann, Kent Nagano, Fabio Luisi, Kirill Petrenko and Giuseppe Sinopoli.
