Biography
He began dancing with Jean-Luc Chirpaz at the Conservatoire national de région de Grenoble then graduated from the Conservatoire national supérieure de Paris with a very good mention in the performance certificate. He then danced at the Opéra de Nice for Jean-Albert Cartier and Hélène Trailin then at the Staatsoper Dresden, directed by Vladimir Derevianko. In 2000, he entered the Aterballetto, under the direction of Mauro Bigonzetti, where he would dance his repertoire and his creations as a soloist. After having participated in various projects including L'Homme à tête de chou by Jean-Claude Gallotta and Close to paradise by Felix Landerer, he joined the Basel Ballet lead by Richard Wherlock. During this career, he danced the repertoire of the Ballets Russes, Jiří Kylián, Mats Ek, William Forsythe, John Cranko, Kenneth Mc Millan, John Neumeier, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin, Stephan Thoss, Stjin Cellis, Angelin Preljocaj, Frederick Ashton , Ronald Hynd, Uwe Scholz and Marius Petipa, and has participated in the creations of Mauro Bigonzetti, Richard Wherlock, Jacopo Godani, Felix Landerer, Jean-Claude Gallotta, Pascal Touzeau, LaBazooka, Annabelle Bonnerie and Beatrice Goetz. He leads various educational projects in Italy with Béatrice Mille and Valerio Longo, in collaboration with Reggio Children, then in Basel with Beatrice Goetz and Alex Wäber at the Basel theater, at the Menuhin Festival Gstaad and for MIR company. In the Situation Room performance of Rimini Protokol, he is also a technician and animator. In 2016, Mauro Bigonzetti entrusted him with the transmission of his repertoire. He became ballet master of the Opéra national du Rhin Ballet in August 2017.
