From one dream to another: the European Court of Human Rights 1950-2024

As Europe comes increasingly under attack, it feels imperative to defend a European ideal of human rights. Three judges from the European Court of Human Rights present the past and present of the utopia ushered in by the European Convention on Human Rights: the aspirations of the founding fathers after the Second World War, the hopes extended to the countries of Central and Eastern Europe following the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the renewed utopia championed by contemporary generations.
