The Blue Cloud

The Blue Cloud is the story of a cloud that travels across the sky and discovers a city under siege. To stop the fighting and put out the fires, it rains until its very last drop, then goes away. The city and all its people turn blue, and peace is restored. Inspired by Tomi Ungerer’s book, The Blue Cloud, the children will be shown how to make engravings and collect them in a handbound notebook. The story focuses on the color blue, which the children will be exploring in all its hues and tones. The workshop will provide an introduction to engraving and bookbinding.
