Part two of a diptych with Un dessin dans le ciel

Filmed just a month before the explosion of 4 August 2020, Enfin, la nuit pays tribute to the legendary Beirut nightspot AHM, which was destroyed in the blast. Against a soundtrack by Charbel Haber and Fadi Tabbal, we experience a slice of Beirut's nocturnal culture as young people dance the night away in the club. Slowly, these images fade behind those of another night, revealing the darkness that descends over a city destroyed. A few months after the tragedy, we still don't know which night this film referred to, but we know it happened.
