For two evenings, three great European troupes – the Ballet of the Opéra national du Rhin, the Ballet of the Theater Basel and the CCN Ballet de Lorraine – will share the stage for a program of recent creations and show their commitment to opening their repertoires to a decidedly contemporary aesthetic for "Ballets européens au XXIe siècle." The Ballet of the OnR is revisiting "The Heart of my Heart" by Israelian choreographer Gil Carlos Harush, which premiered in Spring 2018 at "Plus loin l’Europe: Israël." A recent work by talented Puerto Rican American choreographer Bryan Arias will be performed by the Basel Theater, while the CCN Ballet de Lorraine will be interpreting a piece developed by its director, Petter Jacobsson.
