Biography
After obtaining his prizes at the Conservatory of Rouen and following a major university education, he began directing opera and assisted Jean-Claude Auvray, Stéphane Braunschweig, Jérôme Deschamps, John Dew and Macha Makeieff. In 2010, he directed L'Amant jaloux de Grétry at the Opéra Royal de Versailles and the Opéra Comique. Since 2013, he has been collaborating regularly with the Biel-Solothurn Opera where he signed the staging, sets and costumes for Viva la Mamma, Le Turc en Italie, Le Comte Ory and Don Pasquale. The Geneva Chamber Opera invites him to stage Pomme d'Api / Monsieur Choufleuri by Offenbach and Il re pastore by Mozart. With the Geneva Chamber Orchestra, he imagined a staging for Mozart's Theater Director. He also staged Lehár's Pays du sourire in Tours and Avignon, as well as Don Pasquale at the San Sebastian Festival and at the Metz Opera, Offenbach's Les Fées du Rhin in Tours and Bienne-Soleure and Le Comte Ory in Rennes. In 2019/20, he collaborated with the Angers Nantes and Rennes Operas for La Clémence de Titus, as well as with the Rouen Opera and the Sanxay festival for the revival of Le barbier de Seville created at the OnR in 2018.
