Biography

Of Macedonian origin, she studied at the Skopje Academy of Music and made her debut at the Skopje Opera House in the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor, followed by invitations to opera houses in Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and Albania. In 2006, she made her debut at the Wiener Staatsoper as the Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), a role she also performed at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Staatsoper and Deutsche Oper in Berlin. From 2006 to 2011, she was a member of the Staatstheater Mainz Ensemble, where she sang the roles of Lucia, Sophie (Le Chevalier à la rose), Musetta (La Bohème) and the title role of Manon by Massenet. In 2011, she joined the Staatsoper Stuttgart ensemble where she sang the title role of the Somnambule, Morgana (Alcina), Folie (Platée), Sister Constance (Dialogues des Carmélites), Zerbinetta (Ariane à Naxos), Violetta (La traviata), Olympia (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Elvira (The Puritans), Norina (Don Pasquale). She was invited to Madrid for Rosina (The Barber of Seville), Olympia and the Queen of the Night. At the Metropolitan Oper in New York, she made her debut as the Queen of the Night, which she was invited to sing also in Munich, Baden-Baden (with Sir Simon Rattle), Madrid, Dresden, Berlin and at the Festival from Bregenz. In Dresden, she performed Gilda (Rigoletto). She was invited to Bayreuth for the Bird of the Forest (Siegfried) in 2016 and 2017. Her recent projects include new productions by Lucia di Lammermoor in Graz and Les Huguenots (role of Marguerite) in Geneva.
